Best Swiss Watches Under $500
If you want a Swiss watch but don’t have the budget for a top of the line model there are still plenty of great options. These watches are all built on solid movements and many of them feature unique features you don’t typically see at this price point.
Who owns most watches?
Some of these watches have a very modern look that works well with a wide range of outfits. Others have a more utilitarian style that works better for certain types of clothing or activities. URL : https://nanadc.com/best-pilot-watches-under-500/
These watches all have either an automatic Swiss movement or a Quartz movement that is made in Switzerland. Having a “Swiss Made” label on the back of a watch is a sure sign of quality but producing a Swiss Made watch can be expensive because of the high labor costs in Switzerland. Many of these watches are produced by brands that are part of a larger group or purchase movements from manufacturers to keep costs down.
One of the best examples of this is Tissot’s Powermatic 80 movement. This is the Swatch Group’s go to base movement and they have managed to get it into a design that just slips under our $500 plimsoll mark.
Another example is a more rugged design from Orient. This watch uses their SW220-1 movement and includes 26 jewels. This is more than you’d normally find in a watch at this price point and helps give the watch a smoother feel.
